Martin Fowler installs OpenArchitectureWare
OpenArchitectureWare got kind of an official blessing from one of the software architecture gurus: Martin Fowler. Since he had some trouble installing it, he shares his experience on his blog.
OpenArchitectureWare, a model driven development framework integrated with the Eclipse IDE, is a very interesting software package, which allows for fast creation of specialized formal languages for a narrower range of problems.
Martin Fowler, author of several OO books, including the famous "Refactoring" book, currently follows this track of little languages and obviously has given OpenArchitectureWare a try.
_____"There are few things more frustrating than spending hours trying to install a piece of software and then having to delete everything and start again. Today at 9.30 I began installing openArchitectureWare, I finally had it installed (I think) at 15.30. So I thought I'd write this to help someone else do it more quickly."
